Go pass Ersfjorden, and continue about 15 km over to
Grøtfjorden. In Grøtfjord
you turn southward again and after
about 1 km you find a parking lot on the left side of the road, right
by the first sand beach after Grøtfjord. About 45 min
driving time.

The main wall on Kalkberget
faces south-west, and
sees sun until very late in the evening. The upper
Øvrefeltet faces more directly
south and the sun disappears earlier in the afternoon.
The crag dries fast.

A 50 m rope, 12 quickdraws, and a standard trad rack if you want
test the trad routes.

You can either find water in a small stream on path, not far
from the parking lot, or in the stream leading from the lake below
the crag.
On the field below the crags you find several nice boulders. Good for warming up or impressing your friends in the heat of the campfire. The beach by the parking lot is a perfect hangout after climbing, there is usually sun until midnight there (at least in the summer). | ||
